Welcome to Creative Runway, a website dedicated to celebrating the life and achievements of our fearless leader, Vuyolwethu Yomelela Notyeke.
Vuyolwethu’s journey began as a young boy with an unwavering determination to own his own business. He studied music and sound technology at Nelson Mandela University Through his passion for music, he discovered his love for arts design and founded his first clothing brand, SOLO, in 2014. From there, his career took off as he dove headfirst into the world of music production, fashion and design, graphic designing,digital marketing, photography and videography.
However, Vuyolwethu’s passion for the creative arts extends beyond his own success. He recognized the lack of proper career channels in the industry and set his vision on youth development. Through Creative Runway, his aim and vision is to inspire the younger generation to follow their dreams and align their vision with their purpose.
At Creative Runway, we believe that the creative arts industry is limitless, and there is no boundary to what one can achieve with the right mindset and determination.
He studied music and sound technology at NMMU, using this journey to find himself and discover new talents. He channeled the creativity that music inspired in his soul into designing and founded his first clothing brand in 2014, called SOLO: Stand Out, Live On.
But that isn’t where his skillset ended. He endeavoured to gain a new set of skills by joining a local radio station as a production intern. Here he found his love for social media and marketing.
My aim and vision with Creative Runway is to inspire the younger generation to follow their dreams.
When Vuyolwethu was in his youth, there was no proper channel to provide career options in the creative arts. He noticed this need and set his vision on youth development and to inspire the younger generations to pursue a career in the creative arts.
Vuyolwethu’s story serves as a testament to this belief, and we hope to inspire others to pursue their passions fearlessly.
In his free time, Vuyolwethu enjoys listening to music and podcasts, hitting the gym, and studying. He is a true visionary who lives by the mantra that the world is your oyster, and anything is achievable if you believe in yourself.
His favourite thing about his industry is the freedom to push boundaries. There is no limitation to what you can achieve.
