About Us
Vuyolwethu Yomelela Notyeke started out as a young boy with an ambitious dream: to own his own business. Equipped with a can-do attitude and endless determination, he set out to discover his talents and passion. He found this in music.
He studied music and sound technology at NMMU, using this journey to find himself and discover new talents. He channeled the creativity that music inspired in his soul into designing and founded his first clothing brand in 2014, called SOLO: Stand Out, Live On.
The success of SOLO was the first step in bringing that young boy’s dream to life. Vuyolwethu recognised the potential of his business and dove headfirst into clothing design.
But that isn’t where his skillset ended. He endeavoured to gain a new set of skills by joining a local radio station as a production intern. Here he found his love for social media and marketing.
